The best airport to head for is probably Newquay Cornwall Airport - Cornwall’s only airport. Plymouth Airport in Devon is another option, located opposite Saltash and Torpoint, at the top of Cornwall’s south coast. This is a good airport to head for if you are holidaying in the North Cornwall or Caradon districts.
It is also an option to head for Exeter Airport, but Exeter is located considerably further upland (and is certainly not in Cornwall)

Travelling to Cornwall by road used to be a painful procedure. The M4, M5 and M6 motorways have made the journey from “up country” considerably shorter and less stressful!
The A30 and A38 are the two main holiday routes within Cornwall, with dual carriageways up to Carland Cross, Mitchell and Penzance.
Follow the M5 to Exeter, then take either the A30 or A38 into Cornwall (depending on your final destination). If you are coming via North Devon, then you can join the A39 at junction 27 of the M5.
