Guided tours of the mine, described by the Chairman of English Heritage as ‘one of the two most atmospheric mine tours in Europe’ (I wonder what the other one is?); visit the Museum and learn some of the story of early tin mining and the Cornish overseas.

Children’s play area; amusement arcade pool, air hockey; “Gem Sands” where one can search for genuine gem-quality diamonds and other semi-precious stones.

Various activities and amusements, antiques and craft workshops and garden café.

Interactive crafts include: Candle Making, Ceramic Painting, Pottery Throwing, Wood Turning Silver Jewellery Making, and Gold Panning.

Quite a large selection of souvenir and craft shops.
